I am a hopeless romantic, so writing romance books was a no brainier. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and enjoy it here. I am a mom of three great kids that are now adults. I am also the proud grandma of two cute kids. I started off just writing down some thoughts. They were about what my life would have been if I made a different choice. The story of Shattered started to take place. It a fiction, but I used some of my own childhood to fuel the story.

What I wanted to do was show that abuse in any form is wrong. The one that for me that is the core of this story.  The story shows that words can do more damage than a broken bone. I will say this that the story seem to want to be written. I could not keep up with it sometimes.

I wanted to write about life problems and finding ways to cope with them, and remain true to one’s own self. That we all have a great deal of strength in us.

I want the heroines and heroes to have flaws just like the rest of us. To show that even if the world see us one way that it is not the whole story.
